15 years of experience providing behavioral health services to youth between the ages of 14 and 20 who have been adjudicated as juvenile delinquent.
Melissa Moreno, LCSWR has worked in juvenile justice for the last 18 years, initially as a line staff member, therapist, program director and administrator at New York State Office of Children and Family Services at a limited secure program providing housing over 60 youth with two individual treatment units.
Provide on-site clinically related behavioral health treatment services to include individual, group and family therapy. Melissa conducts consultation throughout the US and has developed and sustained evidenced-based practice such as DBT, Sanctuary, and 7-Challenges within large, complicated systems. She is engaging and able to establish connections with youth, direct line staff and all levels of administrators.
